So you're stuck in quarantine...

There are positives and negatives of every situation, right? So why not look at this quarantine in a more positive light, yes I know I sound kinda crazy, but stay with me here!

For real though, lets think about this:

- You're safe and healthy

- Getting to soak up extra time with your spouse, kids, pets, parents, roommates, yourself, whoever you live with!

- You're probably getting to do that cleaning/organizing you dreamed of.

- Netflix, Hulu, & Disney+.

Now I'm not an idiot, I understand that many people are laid off, trying to homeschool, juggle work and kiddos, unable to care for elder parents, and some are just struggling. I completely understand that, but I wanna focus on the potential of this time at home. Specifically what that means for homeowners, and those that are potentially looking to sell.

So what are some things you can do during quarantine to prepare to list your home?

1.Declutter. If it's been in the closet for 2 years, you don't need it, throw it out.

2.Organize. Get into that linen closet, pull open the junk drawer, & go through your closet.

3.Deep Clean. Wash the walls, wipe the baseboards, and pull out the appliances.

4.Curb Appeal. Get rid of the leaves, clean the gutters, power wash, & paint the front door.

5.Small Projects. Touch-up paint, leaky faucet, fresh caulk around sinks, tubs, & showers.

6. Update. Paint in neutral colors, order new doorknobs, & add hardware to cabinets.

7. Maintenance. Replace filters, light bulbs, and torn window screens.

8. Remove odors. Spray out the trash can, clean out the fridge, dishwasher, & washing machine.

9. Start packing. Depersonalize your house, this buyers to visualize themselves living here.

10. Call me. Let's talk more about what you want, & allow you to ask any questions!

These 10 tips aren't just for those looking to list, but any homeowner or renter out there. Wanna know what else you can do? Give me a call, or schedule a virtual consultation!

Special thank you to those medical professionals & every other essential employee who is working so hard during this time, you are so insanely appreciated!
